CGPSC State Service Exam Eligibility Criteria

Chhattisgarh Public Service Commission State Service Exam eligibility details are given below.

• Nationality- A candidate must be citizen of India.
• Age limit-The minimum age limit of the candidate is 21years and it should not be more than 30years as on 1^st January of the year of the examination.

Domicile candidate who are permanent residents of Chhattisgarh have the lower age limit which is 21years and the upper age limit is 35 years.

For SC, ST and OBC candidates who are the permanent residents of Chhattisgarh will get a relaxation of 5 years in the upper age limit i.e. 40 years is the upper age limit.

Candidates who belong to displaced category and come under SC, ST and OBC-NC will get a relaxation of 8 years in the upper age limit.

For widows and physical handicapped candidates the relaxation of upper age limit is 5 years.

If a candidate is a sport person, who honored with a Shaheed Rajeev Pandey award or Gundadhur samman has relaxation of 5 years in the upper age limit.

In case of permanent or temporary employees of either state government or undertaking CG government, the age relaxation will be up to 38years.

• Education Qualification-

The candidate must have a Bachelor Degree from any recognized university issued by Indian Government. The candidates who are giving final year of Bachelor’s degree can give the preliminary exams but the candidates who will give mains exam should pass their Bachelor’s degree by June 2020 of the year of examination.

• The candidate should be physically and mentally fit and the candidate have to give medical examination and in any case if a candidate fails to give the medical examination will not be appointed.

Candidates possessing professional and technical qualification will be eligible for giving admission to the examination.
